Vision

A call from the heart of Europe to pray for the nations and Israel.
From a painful memory of the past to a future hope of redemption and blessing.

The Global Prayer Call - a dynamic in motion since 2014

In 2014 Harald Eckert initiated the GPC as the continuation of 30 years of ministry in Germany and Europe – a ministry with a major focus on Israel and the Jewish people expressed through his teaching and intercession.

Several Christian European organizations partnered to launch this initiative and support its development.

The spiritual significance of the 70th anniversary of the end of WWII, and the public awareness surrounding the many commemorative events, made 2015 a pivotal year.

In that year, the GPC launched a dynamic campaign of “100 days of prayer”, mobilizing hundreds of churches, networks and intercessors around the world to participate in a common weekly prayer agenda. The beginning and the ending of those 100 days of prayer were marked by two global conferences: The first in January in Auschwitz (Krakow-Poland) and the second in Jerusalem in May, 2015.

The GPC continues its efforts to increase awareness of the biblical, spiritual and existential dimensions of a nation's relationship to the land, the State and the people of Israel as we move forward into 2016 and beyond. Mobilizing effective intercessory prayer remains our major goal.

Over the next two years, the GPC will organize two global prayer conferences in Israel, as well as participating in and supporting other events worldwide.

From Europe – a global call to the world - “where sin increased, grace increased all the more” (Rom.5)

Why from Europe? Because Europe, and Germany in particular, have dramatically failed the Jewish people over the last century. Because Europe and the Jewish people share a common history going back hundreds of years. Europe could justifiably be called the “worst of sinners”.

The GPC believes that Europe has a special responsibility to rise up and enter into its godly destiny to be a blessing to the Jewish people as well as to call forth nations around the world to align with God’s heart for Israel and its people. The praying body of Christ in Europe has a special responsibility – and a unique opportunity – to be a sign and an example for the church world-wide.

A CALL

for the nations world-wide
to align with God’s heart
for Israel and its people

A CALL

to the praying body to stand for their own nation, with regard to their relationship towards the Jewish people and Israel

AN URGENT CALL

as nations are heading towards
the valley of decision
(Joel 3, Matt 25)
